Pay or Contest Traffic Tickets
KCOJ's ePay guide says eligible users can locate the case, click ePay, confirm the amount due, and choose Pay in Full or Partial Payment when allowed. Online payments accept credit, debit, and prepaid cards. Cash payments must be made at the Circuit Clerk's office. The guide says fines and costs must be paid in full at least two days before the court date.
Contesting a Carter County traffic ticket is a court scheduling issue, not an ePay payment issue. A driver who wants to contest should appear as directed or contact the District Court line about scheduling. The clerk can explain procedure, dates, and records, but cannot advise whether a driver should plead, pay, request a hearing, or seek counsel.
